Today was a terribly big day for our little missy and as I don't have a VDO clip to post, I felt it only appropriate to mark the occasion with words instead.
Maya laughed today. An actual little person laugh. Not a sound that almost sounds like a laugh, but an actual one. I can't even describe what it felt like to hear the joy in her little voice so I won't even try.
As if laughing wasn't enough for one day, later on in the afternoon, Maya grabbed onto a toy and held it all by herself.....and promptly brought it straight to her mouth....
....and so it begins.
